33 personalidades e três instituições foram condecoradas pelo prefeito Rafael Greca na noite desta quinta-feira (19) pela Ordem Municipal da Luz dos Pinhais de Curitiba. O evento aconteceu no Memorial de Curitiba num salão rodeado pela arte do pintor curitibano Sérgio Ferro, um dos homenageados na ocasião.
“O agradecimento é a memória do coração”, disse o prefeito Rafael Greca. As medalhas e diplomas destacam e homenageiam curitibanos, de nascimento ou adoção, por contribuírem para o engrandecimento da cidade e do bem-estar de seus habitantes.
Trazendo
referências históricas e bíblicas, o prefeito contou aos mais de 200 presentes qual
é a inspiração dessa honraria máxima da capital paranaense. A medalha é também
uma homenagem ao escultor João Turin, um dos maiores artistas paranaenses e
autor da obra “Homem à Altura dos Pinheiros”, estampada na peça.
